Get High Quality, Google vetted Keywords delivered to your email box with this Keyword Research Method we have put together for you.

It takes 3 things to get this done, all free, but you do have to set them up (can be done in minutes).

  1.  A Google Ads account. You don’t need to spend any money, just have a Google Ads account even if no money has been spent and all ads/campaigns are paused.
  2. You need the script we will give you and know how to use it which we will teach you.
  3. A working email address where you will get the keyword list and then just upload it to a spreadsheet.

Now, what do we mean when we say “vetted” by Google. These keywords are taken from Google’s Search Prediction and Autocomplete feature. So google search algorithm has determined these search terms to be searched with frequency and are trending. You can read more about Google’s Search prediction by clicking the previous hyperlink.

We took advantage and leveraged that to speed up our keyword research with this method.

First Step – Google Ads Account

If you don’t have a Google Ads Account set up then just read and follow this step by step guide from Google on how to setup up an account.

Just make sure to pause any/every campaign after setting it up so you don’t spend any money. You do not have to spend any money on Google to use this.

 

Second Step – The Google Script

After you have set up the Google Ads Account. Go to the “Tools & Settings” Tap towards the top right corner. Click it and then click “Scripts” under “Bulk Actions.

Here is where you will add our script. All you have to do is click on the blue “+” to add a new script. To get the script, all you have to do is Clicking Here to sign up for our free newsletter.

Get Keyword Script 

You will get the script and we will email you more tips and tricks like this. Once you sign up, you will get an email to verify your subscription. Verify it and you will get an email with the Script.

To use the script, copy the script we emailed you then erase the:

function main() {

}

that appears when you click the “+” sign to add a script. Erase that and copy the script.

Now, you just have to add the keyword you want Google to research for you and the email to send the results to.

Once you have entered your desired keyword and where to send the report, click on the “Authorize” button on the upper right corner of the script window. It will open another window asking you to sign in again so do so under the same account. Once you sign in again, click, “allow” and the window will close.

Then just click “Run” in the bottom right corner. It will ask you if you want to “run with preview” or “run without preview” so just do it without a preview. If it asks you to authorize again then just click the authorize button and authorize it again.

It will run and send you the keywords to your email. You should get the email within seconds. Yes, it is that fast!

Open the email, copy everything after, “You can find the results at the following URL:” then paste it onto a spreadsheet. I will be using a Google Spreadsheet for this. 

Just paste it on the first cell. Highlight the whole first column then go to the “data” options tab, click it, and then click “split text to columns” and split by commas. 

All you have to do now is organize the columns to make it visible and now you have a list of keywords.  Copy the row with all the keywords and then right click on another cell. Right click then choose “paste special” and choose “paste as transposed” from the options. 

Now you have a list of keywords. Just delete Keywords that you do not wish to pursue/not relevant. The rest, either use them to create new pages/posts or to optimize your current content. 

Alternatively, you can go to the script’s history tab and click on the “logs statements” to get all the keywords.

You would just delete the extra stuff to leave just the keywords.

Again, these are keywords that make it into the Autocomplete feature and Google’s search prediction feature. Meaning, these are keywords that are searched with frequency and trending. Two factors that make it good keywords to implement into your On-page SEO.

You can just repeat this process with other search terms/keywords and get a list of keywords vetted by Google’s algorithm.
